POSITION PURPOSE

To be responsible for developing, implementing, and coordinating marketing strategies, activities and events to achieve departmental goals and priorities, including but not limited to executing deep dive analytics on available data in the form of graphs, charts, maps, tables and reports, help increasing BUV brand awareness and meeting new enrollment targets for BUV programmes.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

1. Market Analysis:

  • Leverage social listening tools to gather data from news outlets and social media platforms, then analyse market trends
  • Visualize collected contents in the form of graphs, charts, tables, and maps, and suggest further descriptive options as well
  • Analyze data and conduct reports:
  • Analyze available information, regarding the reputation of the brand and social issues
  • Predict and determine future trends
  • Visualize collected contents in the form of graphs, charts, tables, and maps, and suggest further descriptive options as well
  • Optimize Sales and Marketing campaigns based on available information
  • Provide frequent updates for line manager and actively engage with clients regarding events of considerable impacts on their brand
  • Other duties as assigned

2. Management support

  • Conduct necessary market research to gain a thorough understanding of the industry
  • Work with the marketing manager strategically on creating project plans and map out the tasks needed to implement that plan to help the University reach its key goals and priorities
  • Create marketing communications campaigns to maximize University promotion, support current and future business objectives, and build relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Control and monitor the execution of plans, making sure all tasks given are carried out professionally and effectively in a timely manner.

3. Marketing activities

  • Manage the website and analyze data analytics to improve the efficiency of digital marketing campaigns and generate leads
  • Conduct website content audits to ensure proper content and user interface
  • Maintain databases and use the customer relationship management system
  • Participate in social media tracking and media clipping
  • Monitor brand mentions in mainstream and social media
  • Implement various events in coordination with other marketing communications activities
  • Ensure that brand guidelines are followed in all university marketing activities and platforms.
  • Maintain and manage BUV’s corporate image and identity, including logos and signage.
  • Actively participate in the preparation of various marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website content, media articles, video clips, etc.);

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)

Essential

– Holder of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from relevant programs

– Experience in identifying customer drivers, buying and decision-making behaviour.

– Proven knowledge of using data analysis tools and basic coding skills to produce predictive models

– Familiar with using visualizing tools to convert data into graphics

– Ability to convert data into actionable insight

– A keen eye for examining data; skills for gathering, organizing, studying and presenting considerable amounts of information accurately and precisely

– Experience in successfully managing marketing and campaign strategies with significant strengths in digital marketing (Intensive experience in digital marketing is desired).

– Experience working in a flexible and changeable environment.

– Proven ability to manage client and stakeholder relationships.

– Fluent in English
