Our Bachelor in International Hospitality Management is designed to prepare students for management role in the exciting and fast-paced hospitality industry both domestically and globally. The programme not only ensures our graduates are provided with specialist knowledge in the areas ranging from food and beverages, room division to accounting, marketing and human resources, but also focuses on equipping them with managerial skill sets to be ready for management and leadership position or even start their own business in this field the instance they graduate.
Delivered in a highly practical teaching and learning approach, our students will engage regularly with top employers in the hospitality industry and are exposed to multiple opportunities to explore the field in action. With flexible learning timetable – 3 months study and 3 months off, students will be encouraged to go on internship where they can gain professional work experience to strengthen their competencies in the real-world working environment and be ready to pursue their career opportunities worldwide.

Students following the International Hospitality Management programme will be work ready for a supervisory role. BUV’s aim is to get the students to be ready to tackle daily operations and lead operational teams as much as front of the house and/or back of the house.
The English-taught programmes at BUV bring our future graduates opportunities to take internships or work at renown corporations such as JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, Hilton, Intercontinental, Vinpearl or Sheraton.
BUV future alumni will have several advantages in their hands, fluent in English, verse in the practical aspects of service in F&B, housekeeping and Front Office, able to manage daily tasks as team leader in any operations department. All these will make them very valuable prospects for their future employers and not only in the Vietnamese, but also in international market.

Academic Requirements: Completed year 12 or equivalent
English Language Requirements:
One of the following:
- IELTS: 4.5 overall with a minimum of 4.0 in each component
- Complete IELTS Foundation Course at BUV
- BUV Placement Test result at Intermediate Level


The first cohort will graduate in October 2022.

The British University Vietnam (BUV) scholarship fund was established in 2018 with the goal of giving students the opportunity to study UK undergraduate and graduate programs in an international standard educational environment in the country’s capital.
